today i saw senator obama receive the endorsement of three kennedys at american university.
first time i’ve really been to a big publicity washington event. couldn’t have been happier with the experience.

a very welcome hello to 2008. just a few things i’d like to accomplish this year:
- finish my screenplay, start my next screen writing project
- see radiohead in concert at least twice
- run a marathon
- get into the law schools of my choice
… there’s more things i want to do, that’s all that’s come to mind now. greater emphasis on the later points.
like many other things here, the idea for this came from fellow wake alum zach klein. here’s where i’ve been in order of appearence:

i am home in rhode island for the holiday weekend. hope y’all enjoy your turkey day.
if i am able to decide how i spend my after life, i would spend my eternity in oxford, mississippi on a saturday afternoon

today i embark on a (quasi) road trip. me and a copilot are heading out of the district this afternoon and will end up in oxford, mississippi on friday afternoon. why you ask? on the surface, to take in ole’ miss, mingle at the grove, and catch the football game against the number one team in the country, the lsu tigers. aside from that, i’ve always wanted to experience the true southern college life. sure, i spent four years in north carolina for undergrad, but ole’ miss is a bit different. ask anyone who’s been.
along the way, there will be pitstops at james madison university (picking up a third passanger), roanoke college (swapping cars), and wake forest university (staying the night and catching up with the people i left six months ago).
hope y’all enjoy the weekend, i’m sure as hell going to enjoy mine.
it’s been a while since we’ve last talked…
- i bought an iphone, easily the coolest thing i’ve ever owned.
- i made it through my first midterm period of graduate school
- i’m still listening to lots of radiohead
- the patriots and celtics are both undefeated
- i’ve been reading alot, and this doesn’t look to end until mid december
my laptop’s wireless radio is working once more, expect more regular updates.
i swear, i’ve had the idea to do this for about a year, looks like somebody’s beat me to it… ok computer radio play to air on bbc radio4
