great story
so one day patrick moberg is on the subway and sees the girl of his dreams.
he wants to find her again, so he creates a website detailing the events asking people to help him find this girl.
a few short days later, the girl is found, they meet, and soon they’re on morning television.
only in this day and age.

marta marta marta
the american ladies bowed out of the women’s world cup earlier this morning to brazil, thanks to two goals from the best female player in the world – marta. do yourself a favor and watch her second goal (fourth of the match). ronaldinho would be proud to call that his own.

scatterbrained thoughts
- If you have not seen Sigur Rós in concert , watching this is an imperative
- One of my professor freelances on the side, here’s his product: Congressionalbadboys.com
- From that site: “CREW’s annual most corrupt members of Congress” list
-Weslyan’s Rap Anthem: New Teen Force – “Party On Fountain”
- Congrats to David at Culture of Soccer for getting an article published by Christian Science Monitor
- Ronaldinho moving to Chelsea?
– [even better] Jose Mourinho to come to Tottenham?

un concert a emporter
i can’t think of many other sites that continually present the caliber of quality live music videos as La Blogotheque’s Take Away Shows. Please enjoy their latest addition, young Zach Condon and Beirut performing “Nantes” of the forthcoming Flying Club Cup. Watch the video here.
Check out some of my other favorite performances of bands playing in various places for this blog’s cameras.
- Sufjan Stevens – Lakes of Canada (on a roof)
- The National – Start A War (around a dinner table)
- Arcade Fire – Neon Bible & Wake Up (just about everywhere)
